The Law

Redevelopment in New Jersey principally is governed by the Local Redevelopment and Housing Law, N.J.S.A. 40A:12A-1 et seq. Often referred to as the "LRHL" or the "Redevelopment Law", the statute was enacted in 1992 to consolidate prior laws relating to redevelopment and housing.
